Restoring Glory: A Roof Cleaning Project in Broadstairs

In the coastal town of Broadstairs, Kent, our recent roof cleaning project allowed us to work on a historic building, helping to bring it back to its former glory. The client had noticed how tired and aged the roof was looking so approached us to breathe some new life back into it!

Due to the size of the project, we collaborated with a local scaffolding firm to provide a secure platform for staff to use whilst undertaking the clean. This also meant we could effectively clean every nook and cranny of the expansive roof.

Communication is key in any successful project, and we make it a priority to keep our client informed throughout. We provide regular photo updates to show the progress of the work whilst also updating the expected completion date if needs be.

Jet washing provides instant gratification as the results are immediate. Over four days we transformed the roof of the house and the double garage, revealing a subdued red tile which had been hidden away.

A thorough roof cleaning isn't complete without addressing the often-neglected gutters and we offer a free gutter cleaning in each of our roof cleaning packages. We removed debris that had accumulated over the years, ensuring proper water drainage and preventing potential damage to the roof and property.

Recognising the historical significance of the property, our client took the initiative to address potential vulnerabilities in the roof. An aged roof, over a century old, warranted the attention of a skilled roofer to re-point the ridges where mortar had weathered away. This effort ensured the roof's longevity and added value to the overall restoration.

This Broadstairs roof cleaning project stands as testament to the difference an effective and careful roof clean can make.
